VICTIM RESOURCES

The Safe Hope Center is a partnership of agencies dedicated to ending domestic and sexual violence through prevention and response by providing comprehensive, trauma informed, client-centered services in a single location. Established in 2015, the core concept of the Safe Hope Center is to provide one place where victims can go to talk to an advocate, plan for their safety, interview with a police officer, meet with a prosecutor, receive medical assistance, receive information on shelter, receive spiritual support and get help with transportation and other needs.

Services Offered

  • Crisis Intervention & follow-up, in person and by telephone
  • Information about crime victim's rights, crime victim's compensation, and assistance with filing claims
  • Provides information to victims so they better understand their rights during the process
  • Advocacy with criminal justice system & other agencies
  • Information and referrals to community services
  • Case status information
  • Court accompaniment in some cases
  • Transportation to shelter, other safe location, or to court
