Notice of Public Hearing on Annexation and Proposed Plan of Service (Sunshine Areas 1 & 2)
The Jackson City Council will hold a public hearing on the annexation and proposed plan of service for an annexation area identified as “Sunshine Areas 1 & 2”, comprising (Area 1) 56.93 acres, more or less, and (Area 2) 15.16 acres, more or less. The area is generally described as being located (Area 1) North of Hartsfiled Drive and (Area 2) West of Wesley Drive. The proposed zoning for “Sunshine Areas 1 & 2” is RS-2 (Single Family Residential) District.
The public hearing will be held on Tuesday, July 1, 2025 at City Hall, 109 East Main Street, Suite 107 at 9:00 AM in the George A. Smith meeting room. All interested parties are invited to attend.
