Art Galleries at The Ned

Thank you for your interest in exhibiting your art at The Ned.

The Ned is proud to host two distinctive galleries: The Old City Hall Gallery and The Main Lobby Gallery, each offering unique spaces for artists to showcase their work to a broad audience.

The Upper Gallery is nestled within the first floor of the historic Old City Hall building, meandering through the Ned offices. This intimate space can accommodate between 30 to 35 pieces, depending on the size of the artworks.

The Lower Gallery, facing Main Street, boasts a larger space that can accommodate 60 to 90 pieces, depending on size. This gallery is the face of The Ned, greeting audiences attending theater events and is partially viewable from Main Street, offering artists exposure to a wide array of audiences.

A dedicated review committee—comprising Ned staff, esteemed art professionals, and members of the Ned's Advisory Board—oversees the selection process. This committee is committed to upholding the principles of artistic freedom while ensuring that the artworks align with The Ned's guidelines and exhibition themes. We strive for a process that is transparent, respectful, and supportive, embodying our commitment to both the artists and the diverse community The Ned serves. Artists subject to review will be engaged in a dialogue that might include requests for additional context or information about their work.

For inquiries or further information, please do not hesitate to reach out to us at [email protected]. We look forward to the possibility of showcasing your work and invite you to be a part of The Ned’s vibrant community.
